In a groundbreaking move, Highnoon has joined forces with the Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (PSIM) to tackle the pressing issue of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Highnoon and PSIM marked the official initiation of a joint initiative called “Keep Antibiotics Working.”
The PSIM panel, led by Prof. Dr. Javaid Akram, Health Minister of Pakistan, and comprising esteemed experts Prof. Dr. Aftab Mohsin, Prof. Dr. Aziz-ur-Rehman, Prof. Dr. Tariq Waseem, Prof. Dr. Sajid Ubaid-Ullah, and Associate Prof. Dr, Somia Iqdtidar from the field of internal medicine, emphasized the importance of this multi-pronged approach in addressing AMR.
