On the 27th of June 2022, Highnoon Cardiology initiated ‘MI – Cath Link’. This live surgery was organized in collaboration with the Pakistan Society of Interventional Cardiology and Pakistan Cardiac Society. It was aimed to provide a unique experience for learners by broadcasting live cases from the Catheterization Laboratories of various National and International Cardiac Institutions.
The main focus of the course was ‘PCI – Left Main/Bifurcation’. Mohaned Egred, Professor of Interventional Cardiology & Cardiovascular Medicine and Consultant Interventional Cardiologist Freeman Hospital, Newcastle, performed the live operation.
A large number of learners from the medical community benefited from this opportunity and watched the live broadcast from PC, Karachi.
Dr Shao-Liang Chen, MD, PhD Interventional Cardiologist Nanjing First Hospital, Nanjing, China, and Dr Afsar Raza, Consultant Cardiologist Airedale General Hospital, UK, were the Chairman and Course Director respectively.
