DESCRIPTION:

Ondansetron is a potent highly selective 5-HT3, receptor antagonist.

INDICATIONS:

In adults it is indicated for:

• Prevention & Treatment of nausea & vomiting induced by cytotoxic chemotherapy & radiotherapy.
• Prevention & Treatment of post-operative nausea & vomiting (PONV)

In Pediatric Population it is indicated for the:

• Management of chemotherapy-induced nausea & vomiting (CINV) in children aged ≥ 6 months.
• Prevention & treatment of PONV in children aged ≥ 1 month.
